PURPOSE: Privacy-preserving aggregation of time-series data is provided to code a data value by using a secret key during noisy encryption. CONSTITUTION: A computing environment(100) includes a computer network(102), a data aggregator(104), and participants(106,108,110). The computing environment includes a reliable entity(112) performing reliable setting-up. The data aggregator, the participants, and the reliable entity can include computing devices connected to a computer network such as a server computer, a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a portable computing device, or wireless sensor. The computer network can include a wired network, a wireless network, or their combination.
