EDGE MANAGEMENT UNIT FOR 2-DIMENSION VECTOR GRAPHICS, GRAPHIC PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An edge management unit for two-dimensional vector graphic and graphic processing apparatus including the same are provided to reduce memory bandwidth in a memory reading process by reading edge data form a location determined by bucket information. CONSTITUTION: An edge record control unit(121) stores bucket information corresponding to the inputted edge data in a first memory area(210). The edge record control unit stores the edge data in a location determined by the bucket information of a second memory area(220). An edge reading control unit(122) reads the bucket information form the first memory area by responding to a scan line signal. The edge reading control unit reads the edge data from a location determined the read bucket information from the second memory area.
