The ship has a structure including a bridge (4) provided with a wedge-shaped area (2), and an antenna system including a portion of the structure. The portion includes a cavity (3) formed in the wedge-shaped area, where the cavity includes reflective walls to reflect electromagnetic waves and opened toward an outer side of the ship. The system includes an antenna wire (1) placed in the cavity at a distance from the walls of the cavity and supports communications in a high frequency band between 1 and 30 MHz. The cavity is arranged at the level of a transverse edge (42) of the structure.
