PURPOSE: A functional cosmetic composition and a pharmaceutical composition containing Phyllacantha fibrosa extract and Suaeda Maritima extract is provided to reduce adipocyte size and to reduce subcutaneous fat and cellulose. CONSTITUTION: A functional cosmetic composition for slimming contains 0.0001-20 wt% each of Phyllacantha fibrosa extract, and Suaeda Maritima extract as an active ingredient. The mixture ratio of Phyllacantha fibrosa extract, and Suaeda Maritima extract is 1:1-20:1. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity, topical obesity, cellulite, or lipodystrophia contains Phyllacantha fibrosa extract, and Suaeda Maritima extract as an active ingredient.
