PURPOSE: A component photographing apparatus and method thereof are provided to prevent the generation of an image overlap phenomenon by protecting an axis including a head from vibration. CONSTITUTION: An encoder(30) senses the movement of a multi-head(10). The encoder generates an encoder signal. An encoder accumulation value conversion unit(71) converts encoder accumulation values according to the encoder signal. A trigger signal generation unit(73) generates trigger signals according to the encoder accumulation value. A camera(50) receives the trigger signal. The camera takes a photograph of components.
