PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger is provided to compulsorily discharge inactive gas sprayed to a welded portion or air remaining in the welded portion, thereby preventing a welding failure. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger comprises the steps of: preparing a plurality of tubes(150), preparing a tube sheet(130) formed with a plurality of assembly holes in which the tubes are inserted, assembling the tubes to the assembly holes, and implementing welding of a part along the edge formed between the perimeter of a tube and a first side of the tube sheet. The welding step includes the steps of: inputting heat to the welded portion and applying negative pressure to the root of the welded portion.
