PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal aligning agent are provided to obtain superior response features of liquid crystal molecules about a voltage change. CONSTITUTION: A first aligning film(13) is formed on one of a pair of substrates. The first aligning film aligns liquid crystal molecules at an angle against a direction vertical to a surface of one substrate. A second aligning film(15) is formed on a surface of the other surface. The second aligning film perpendicularly aligns liquid crystal molecules. The first aligning film is formed by using liquid crystal aligning materials. The liquid crystal aligning materials comprise a radiation-sensitive compound with photo aligning features. |
