SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERCEPTING ILLEGALITY REPRODUCTION IN EXCHANGEABLE CONDITIONAL ACCESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An illegal duplication block system in an exchangeable type restriction reception system and method thereof are provided to previously block illegal duplication generated by converting software in a physical apparatus using dynamic ID(Identification). CONSTITUTION: An XCAS(eXchangeable Conditional Access System) host(120) downloads a CAS(Conditional Access System) client module from an XCAS head-end unit(130) after the XCAS host is authenticated. The XCAS head-end unit allocates dynamic ID to the authenticated XCAS host when the XCAS host provides the CAS client module. The XCAS head-end unit matches the dynamic ID with security module ID included in key information. When the key information is illegal duplication, the XCAS head-end unit blocks a connection to the XCAS host corresponding to the security module ID.
