PURPOSE: A solar collecting apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the weight of a light collector and a diffuser by laminating an aluminum plate and poly isocyanurate foam. CONSTITUTION: A solar collecting apparatus comprises a light collector(10) for collecting and condensing sun lights. The light collector comprises a light transmission panel(17) made of glass or polyethylene, a forward light collecting panel(11) which condenses incident sun light and reflects the sun light to an upper light collecting panel or an optical duct(20), the upper light collecting panel(12) having a parabolic shape to improve the light collecting efficiency, and cover panels(13) respectively arranged on the left and right sides of the light collector.
