PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce reflection loss of light by contacting a window layer with a substrate and to prevent the degeneration of electronic characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A diode(D) is formed on a substrate. The diode is parallely connected to a plurality of solar cells. A connection electrode(210) electrically interlinks the plurality of solar cells and the diode. The diode comprises the connection electrode, a first conductive layer(510), and a second conductive layer(610). The connection electrode and a window layer, a light absorption layer and the first conductive layer, and a back surface electrode layer and the second conductive layer are respectively formed into same material. |
