The cabinet (1) has a technical compartment (10) containing technical components such as heating device (7) and sterilizing filter (8), for producing asepticised air to be supplied to endoscopes (2). An elongated parallelepiped storage enclosure (11) is provided with internal partitions (4), and receives and stores the endoscopes. An insufflation unit (9) insufflates filtered ambient air through an upper wall (14) of the enclosure to produce a laminar stream of air (15) towards an evacuation opening (16) at the exterior of the cabinet. The opening is situated in a lower zone of the enclosure. An independent claim is also included for an aseptic storage method for endoscopes. |
