The lifter has a deflection unit for deflecting a flexible traction unit such that portions of the traction unit as formed as adjustable portions and extended along an adjustable direction of a window pane. A driver (6b) is longitudinally moved in engagement with guide portions such that the driver is guided along an adjustable direction. A door module carrier (1) retains a part of the lifter. One of the guide portions comprises a guide element i.e. extrusion part, that is separated from the carrier. A drive portion of the traction unit runs behind a side of the element facing the carrier.
