PURPOSE: A wire detecting device is provided to prevent a wire from being damaged or braided by quickly detecting the secession of the wire. CONSTITUTION: A wire detecting device comprises a drum part(10), a moving part(20), and a secession detecting part(30). A wire is wound on the drum part. The moving part moves along the wire wound on the drum part. The secession detecting part is rotatably coupled to the moving part and detects whether the wire not wound on the drum part escapes from a path or not.
