<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source, in which light progressing in a direction perpendicular to opposed side surfaces is made not to be transmitted outside an optical glass. <P>SOLUTION: The light source has a plurality of light-emitting devices mounted on the side surfaces of a polyhedral optical glass. The optical glass has a plurality of concave parts formed on each side surface.
