<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which is excellent in lightness, contrast or the like, has clear and high-quality color characteristics, and is more superior in durability or the like than a conventional product to have high credibility. <P>SOLUTION: A colored resin composition for producing a color filter is easily obtained by the use of a particular coloring material compound and also the mix of a binder resin, a solvent, a hardener or the like.
