<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trace light imaging device enabling high-efficiency excitation light irradiation, and a trace light imaging method. <P>SOLUTION: A trace light imaging device 100 relating to the invention comprises: an excitation light irradiation unit 2; a trace light detector (1) for extracorporeally detecting trace light emitted from an in-vivo trace light imaging observation target; and a measuring unit 3 for placing or loading a test animal. The excitation light irradiation unit 2 comprises: an excitation light source 20; a spot excitation light irradiation part 23 for irradiating only the trace light imaging observation target and its periphery with excitation light emitted from the excitation light source 20; and positioning means (22 and 23) for positioning the spot excitation light irradiation part 23 at a desired position so as to irradiate the trace light imaging observation target and its periphery with the excitation light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
