<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker that can stably and deliciously cook rice without causing a trouble to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a body 1; a pot-shaped container 5 stored in the body 1; a lid body 10 for covering an opening part of the pot-shaped container 5; a heating coil 3 for heating the pot-shaped container 5; control means 8 for driving and controlling the heating coil 3 to perform a rice cooking step including a preheating step and a temperature-raising step; and moisture content detection means 15 for detecting the moisture content of rice. The moisture content detection means 15 detects the moisture content of the rice at least one time while boiling is detected in the temperature-raising step after the lid is closed. The control means 8 adjusts at least one of a heating temperature in the preheating step and power supply in the temperature-raising step according to the detected moisture content of the rice by the moisture content detection means 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
