<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the landing position of a liquid discharged by flushing to prevent the liquid from landing on the inclined surface of a guide member in a situation where vibration, impact, or the like may be applied. <P>SOLUTION: Before a user starts to use the inkjet printer, the inkjet printer locates the nozzle 16bk opposite an absorption form 54 and performs the flushing of a black nozzle 16bk.
