<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor having excellent electric property, and a manufacturing method of the same. <P>SOLUTION: Ceramic slurry is coated to form a greensheet, and first conductor paste is printed thereon to form an unbaked internal electrode layer. By laminating greensheets having the formed unbaked internal electrode layers, an unbaked ceramic laminate is obtained. After cutting it, a second conductive paste at least containing Ni metal is coated on the end face of the unbaked ceramic laminate having the unbaked internal electrode layer exposed thereon, so as to form an unbaked base metal. On the peripheral edge of the unbaked base metal, a paste for forming a fringe layer, including a Mg compound, is coated to simultaneously bake the unbaked ceramic laminate and the unbaked base metal. The surface of the base metal obtained by baking the unbaked base metal is plated, so as to manufacture the multilayer ceramic capacitor having a peripheral edge 5a of the base metal 5, fringed with a fringe layer 7 including a Mg oxide, Ni and/or the oxide thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
