Provided is a bacteriocin which can be easily mass-produced and has high antibacterial activity even at low concentration. In addition, the bacteriocin has a wide antibacterial spectrum, while having low possibility of emergence of resistant bacteria. The bacteriocin is characterized by comprising the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2 shown in the Sequence Listing or an amino acid sequence which is produced by deleting, substituting, inserting and/or adding one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2 shown in the Sequence Listing and which has antibacterial activity. The bacteriocin is also characterized by having 12 or more isoelectric points. |
