<p>Disclosed is a log management device. The device includes: a log recording module for compressing and converting a log text into a log record according to the conversion rules, invoking a log management module, and writing the log record into a storage medium according to a log record write-in address acquired by the log management module; and the log management module for acquiring the log record write-in address according to the global log information stored by the storage medium and the address range of the log record and returning the same to the log recording module. Also disclosed is a log management method. By way of the device and method of the present invention, the capacity of the storage medium for storing the log and the processing speed for reading/writing the log are improved, and important logs are prevented from being lost.</p> |
