METHOD FOR PREVENTING AMMONIA SLIP USING CARBONIC ACID WASHING WATER

PURPOSE: An ammonia slip suppressing apparatus using carbonic acid washing water is provided to reduce the supplement quantity of ammonia by suppressing the slip of the ammonia. CONSTITUTION: An ammonia slip suppressing apparatus includes the following: the slip of ammonia in ammonia water is suppressed by using carbonic acid washing water; and the ammonia water and mixed gas containing carbon dioxide are contacted in an absorbing column to collect carbon dioxide gas from the ammonia water and regenerate ammonia water. The concentration of the carbonic acid washing water is 2 to 33 mmol/L(25 degrees Celsius, 1 atm). The carbonic acid washing water is obtained by dissolving carbon dioxide from the regenerating column in water.
