<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female connector to which rotational torque is easily applied. <P>SOLUTION: The female connector includes a pair of grip parts 55 provided on the outer peripheral surface; an insertion part 41 into which a tubular part of a male connector is inserted; and a pair of projections 62 engaged with a pair of engaging claws of the male connector. In a state of the tubular part being inserted in the insertion part, the pair of grip parts are rotated relative to the male connector. The pair of projections can thereby be engaged with the pair of engaging claws or released from the engagement. The pair of projections are arranged on a major axis 59a where the outer dimension of the female connector is maximum when viewed along a direction parallel with a center axis of the insertion part, and the pair of grip parts are arranged on a minor axis 59b orthogonal to the major axis. In a position in the direction of the center axis where the pair of grip parts are arranged, the outer dimension in the major axis direction of the outer peripheral surface is greater than the outer dimension in the minor axis direction of the outer peripheral surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
