<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic glow plug having a structure to further reduce impact shock and stress transferred to a ceramic heater through a shaft, and a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A metallic shaft 3 and the ceramic heater 4 are connected through a metallic ring member 6, an inner diameter of the ring member 6 is formed to be approximately constant, a first region 6a comparatively thick, is formed at a tip side, and a second region 6b comparatively thin, is further formed at a rear side. Thus, the stress and impact shock from the shaft 3 are transferred to the ceramic heater 4 at the boundary of the first region 6a and the second region 6b, so that a trouble generated in accompany therewith can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
