<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mounting position of a brake device for an elevator from being displaced in a horizontal direction even when the brake device for an elevator is actuated and a horizontal component of force acts on the brake device for an elevator. <P>SOLUTION: This brake device for an elevator includes: a brake shoe 15 for braking a car by clamping a main rope 12 wound around a main sheave and a deflector sheave at a position between the main sheave and the deflector sheave; a mounting member 18 mounted to a fixation member 3 arranged in an elevator hoistway for positional fixation; a brake base 17 mounted to the mounting member 18 by supporting the brake shoe 15; projecting parts 19 formed on the mounting member 18 by projecting upward for bringing one end of the brake base 17 into contact therewith; and a presser member 20 arranged on the mounting member 18 for pressing the brake base 17 in a direction in which the one end of the brake base 17 comes into contact with the projecting parts 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
