PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly distinguish between an unattended presence of a patient who needs assistance in moving to an area to practice a daily action including going to a lavatory or taking a bath and an intended presence of the patient who can move to these areas without assistance.
SOLUTION: The present invention begins timing with a timer 5 when a door state detection device 1, which is arranged at a position beyond a reach from a vicinity of a lavatory basin, detects that a door of a lavatory to be used when a patient enters therein is closed in a state that a human body detection device 2 detects a human body in the vicinity of the lavatory basin. Then, the invention performs a notification if the door is continuously closed even after a lapse of a prescribed period. Thus, the invention can clearly distinguish between two cases: a case to perform the notification when the invention detects that the door is closed by a health worker after a patient moves to the vicinity of the lavatory basin with assistance of the health worker; and the other case not to perform the notification when the invention detects that the patient single-handedly moves to the vicinity of the lavatory basin after closing the door.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
