<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct molding machine capable of securing a space for applying auxiliary work to the upper surface of a base material during molding. <P>SOLUTION: The direct molding machine 1 includes a first mold 22 and an injection device 3. A preliminarily molded plate-shaped base material B is set on the first mold 22 and the cavity C restricted by the first mold 22 and the surface of the base material B is formed by the contact of the first mold 22 and the base material B.
