<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical cell with terminals, excellent in heat resistance and capable of reflow soldering, with a minimal occupation space when surface mounted on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: The electrochemical cell with terminals includes a button-shaped or a coin-shaped electrochemical cell of prescribed height, having two cell cases to be a cathode and an anode; and two terminals respectively welded on the two cell cases to surface mount the electrochemical cell on a substrate. One of the two terminals includes an A plane welded on one of the two cell cases, a B plane continuous with the A plane in a cell height direction, and a C plane for soldering, continuous with the B plane. The other of the two terminals includes a plane welded on the other of the two cell cases and a plane for soldering, continuous with the above plane. The one of the two terminals has a substantially U-shaped cross section including the A plane, the B plane and the C plane and includes an opening having the B plane and the A and C plane continuous with the B plane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
