<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a widely available computer system capable of performing exclusive control and system switching of resources shared among computers by resetting a working computer when failure occurs to the working computer in the widely available computer system of a cluster configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When failure occurs to a system in a cluster, the system in the cluster which detected the failure issues reset on the basis of priority and the failed system stops.
