<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an address search in which the structure of an address is taken into consideration. <P>SOLUTION: An address search device includes: a dictionary storage unit which stores words included in an address associatively with layer information representing a layer of the address; a cost storage unit which stores cost information representing probability of succession between layers of the address; a search master storage unit which stores address data for search; a search request acceptance unit which accepts a search request including a search character string for searching for the address; a search character string division unit which outputs a combination of search words with high possibility of succession among combinations of search words obtained by dividing the search character string with the words stored in the dictionary storage unit based upon the cost information; a search unit which searches the address data stored in the search master storage unit for address data including search words output from the search character string division unit; and a search result output unit which outputs search results of the search unit according to degrees of matching with the search words. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
