<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of frequency characteristic and the sound volume reduction to achieve good quality sound output at proper volume in a structure where a speaker is provided at the rear surface side of a display panel. <P>SOLUTION: A display device has: a display panel 11 displaying images; a housing 12 to which the display panel 11 is attached; and a speaker 13 provided in the housing 12 at the rear surface side of the display panel 11. The speaker 13 is arranged so that a speaker axis x inclines horizontally outward side of the display panel 11 relative to a normal line y of a display surface of the display panel 11 and the directivity of the speaker 13 faces diagonally backward outer side of the display part 1. The housing 12 has one or multiple sound-emitting holes 15 at outer side positions relative to the speaker axis x for emitting sound from the speaker to the exterior. Further, the housing 12 includes one or multiple sound-emitting holes 16 for sound quality adjustment at the horizontally inner side of the display device 1 relative to the sound-emitting holes 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
