<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face imaging system capable of reducing a load on the eyes of a user when the user approaches a projector for radiating light. <P>SOLUTION: A camera for imaging the face of a user has a lens structure for generating blur when an object approaches a projector. A face imaging system sets a projection condition and an exposure condition (S11, S12), acquires a captured image captured by the camera (S13), and tries the recognition of a face area from the captured image (S14). When the face area is recognized (S15: Yes), edge information of the face area and a structure object area of a structure object in the captured image are extracted (S16-S18). The edge information of the face area is normalized by the edge information of the structure object area (S19). It is determined whether the normalized edge information is lower than a prescribed threshold or not (S20). When the edge information is lower than the threshold (S20: Yes), it is regarded that the blur has been generated in the face area, so that the irradiation of light from the projector is stopped or reduced (S21). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
