摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straightness measuring device which can measure and adjust straightness with accuracy equal to a straight edge and which is small-sized, light-weight, and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In a straightness measuring device, a light position sensor 7 detects a position on a plane receiving a light beam from a light beam output part 1 while the light position sensor 7 is slid along a measuring object 12, thus the straightness of the measuring object 12 being measured. A distance between the light beam output part 1 and the light position sensor 7 is measured by a distance sensor 6, and an arbitrary position on the plane receiving light is accepted as a reference position. In a calibration operation, the difference between the reference position and the position detected by the light position sensor 7 is calculated; the calculated difference is stored with the distance measured by the distance sensor 6 when detecting the position together; when the measurement operation is carried out, the difference between the reference position and the position detected by the light position sensor 7 is calculated; and the result obtained by subtracting the difference stored corresponding to the distance measured when detecting the position from the calculated difference is displayed in a display part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
