<p>The method involves providing several switching elements in standstill or near stoppage of motor vehicle for realizing decoupling or creep tilt minimization condition. One of the switching elements (4) is partially opened and operated in slip state, in order to reduce transmission torque. The pressure of transmission is controlled according to deviation between desired torque and actual torque of switching elements.
