Provided are a data sequence generation method and device for generating pseudo-random sequence data. The method includes: determining a matrix P according to a recurrence formula of a data sequence A, wherein each element in the matrix P is acquired from a tap coefficient in the recurrence formula of the data sequence A; determining an index period n 0 corresponding to a data item to be generated; and acquiring the data sequence in the index period n 0 corresponding to the data item to be generated according to the known data items in the data sequence A, the matrix P and the index period n 0. The embodiments of the present invention can reduce the sequence generating time, are not limited by the time sequence, and can improve flexibility.
