<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a communication device that transmits/receives print specifications, and can perform print setting suitable for the capability of a printing device for executing printing even if being any of a transmission side and a reception side of print specifications. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device comprises: communication means that communicates with an external device; print specification generation means that generates print specifications including information on setting items related to printing; printing capability acquisition means for acquiring printing capability as information referenced when the print specification generation means generates the print specifications; and storage means that stores the printing capability acquired by the printing capability acquisition means. When a first communication device with the storage means storing printing capability transmits the print specifications to a second communication device using the communication means, the printing capability is also transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
