<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical performance data providing system which improves the quality of model musical performance data obtainable based upon a musical score and is easy to use, a method, a server, a portable terminal, and a computer program. <P>SOLUTION: The musical performance data providing system includes a portable terminal 100 and a server 200. The portable terminal 100 includes: a camera section 102; an image processing section 110 which optimizes image data on a photographed musical score to picture quality which is high enough for the server 200 to recognize the musical score; a network communication section 134 which transmits the optimized image data on the musical score to the server 200 and instructs musical performance data corresponding to the musical score to be retrieved, and also receives the musical performance data corresponding to the musical score of the image data transmitted to the server 200 from the server 200 via a network as a result of the retrieval by the server 200 from a musical piece database in response to the instruction of retrieval; and an infrared communication section 132 which transfers the received musical performance data to an electronic musical instrument 400 and makes the electronic musical instrument 400 automatically play music. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
