<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance mechanism that can facilitate jam processing and the replacement or maintenance, or the like of processing units such as a fixation device, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet conveyance mechanism 60 includes: a main conveyance path 40 conveying sheets; a branching path 41 branching from the main conveyance path 40 and conveying the sheets; a switching member 45 capable of switching the posture of the sheet among a main conveyance posture that is a member defining part of the main conveyance path 40 and guides the sheets to the main conveyance path 40, a switching posture that switches the sheet conveyance path from the main conveyance path 40 into the branching path 41 and guides the sheets to the branching path 41, and a separation posture separating from the main conveyance path 40; and a posture changing mechanism 70 that changes the posture of the switching member 45 among the main conveyance posture, the switching posture and the separation posture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
