<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting capable of preventing an injury by clamping a finger between a vertical frame and a sash without separately providing the vertical frame with a cover for preventing finger clamping, and preventing intrusion of rainwater and light leakage from a corner part of a frame. <P>SOLUTION: The fitting includes a frame 1 and a sash 2 provided so as to be freely opened and closed on the frame, and the frame includes vertical frames 3 and 3, horizontal frames 4 and 5 and corner components 11 and 12. The vertical frame includes a vertical tight material holder 6 and a vertical tight material 7 attached to the vertical tight material holder, and the horizontal frame includes horizontal tight material holders 8 and 9, and a horizontal tight material 10 attached to the horizontal tight material holder. The vertical tight material holder 6 is positioned more separated from the sash 2 than the horizontal tight material holders 8 and 9, the width in a depth direction of the vertical tight material 7 is larger than that of the horizontal tight material 10, and the vertical tight material 7 and the horizontal tight material 10 are abutted to the sash 2 on the same surface in the depth direction.
