<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component and a substrate module which achieve a low electronic system level and prevent short circuits when mounted to a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated body 11 includes capacitive conductors 18, 19 forming a capacitor and an internal conductor 32. External electrodes 12a, 12b are connected with the capacitive conductors 18, 19 respectively through extraction conductors 20, 21. The internal conductor 32 faces the capacitive conductors 18, 19. External electrodes 13, 14 are connected with the capacitive conductor 18 through extraction conductors 22, 23.
