<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical waveguide and an opto-electric composite substrate with improved visibility of a core pattern, and to provide the optical waveguide and the opto-electric composite substrate obtained by the same. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing an optical waveguide 1 and an opto-electric composite substrate including a first process for forming a substantially rectangular parallelepiped member made of a chromogenic clad layer 10 having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and a core layer 30 mounted on an upper surface or a lower surface of the chromogenic clad layer 10 and having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and a second process for forming an upper clad layer 40 for covering an upper surface and side surfaces of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped member, and the optical waveguide 1 and the opto-electric composite substrate manufactured by the method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
