<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which is capable of improving user-friendliness by facilitating visually getting to know a time and enabling even a visually disabled person to easily get to know a time. <P>SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver is provided with a control part 8 which controls a timer part 14, a voice generating part 9, and a character and graphic drawing part 11 on the basis of a remote control signal received by a remote control receiver 6. If operation on the remote controller requests clock display, the control part 8 performs control, for a predetermined clock display period, to cause a display part 12 to display as drawing data an analog clock including a long hand and a short hand generated by the character and graphical drawing part 11 and control to output a guiding voice based on the signal generated by the voice generating part 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
