<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for outputting a program counter value when a special symbol is generated. <P>SOLUTION: A processor includes: a control part (501) for, when the instruction of the address of a program counter value is read from an instruction memory (311), dividing a program counter value corresponding to the read instruction into a high order bit part (331) and a low order bit part (332), and writes the high order bit part in a register part (500), and for making the set of the read instruction and the low order bit part corresponding to the instruction propagate to the following stage; and arithmetic pipe lines (301 to 306) for performing the pipe line processing of a plurality stages in response to the read instruction, and for making the set of the information of the read instruction and the low order bit part corresponding to the instruction propagate to each stage.
