<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air conditioning performance from being degraded without causing a closing period where refrigeration oil is not returned to a compressor. <P>SOLUTION: An oil return passage 10a provides connection between an oil separator 2 and an intake side of a compressor 1, thus defining a bypass passage.
