摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which does not need optical adjustment for each sample solution to be observed, in a molecule counting method by scanning using optical measurement by a confocal microscope or a multiphoton microscope. <P>SOLUTION: In a technique for detecting and analyzing light from light emitting particles of the present invention, a sample solution is placed on a lens surface of an objective lens of a microscope, and the light from the light emitting particles in the sample solution is detected while a position of a light detection area of an optical system is being moved in the sample solution by changing an optical path of the optical system of the microscope. Thus the light emitting particles passing across in the light detection area are individually detected, and counting of the light emitting particles and acquirement of information about concentration or number density of the light emitting particles are enabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
