<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound probe capable of corresponding to each of diagnostic apparatuses having ultrasonic wave transmission/reception circuits different in scale. <P>SOLUTION: A channel forming/connecting section 22 changes the number of sub-dice elements configuring each channel by switching the connection state of a sub-dice element of a transducer array 3, and selectively connects a plurality of transducers configuring the transducer array in association with any one of a plurality of signal lines 7, and thus, effective signal lines connected to the each of channels, from among the plurality of signal lines 7, to transmit driving signals and reception signals are selected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
