<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that can appropriately control a switching element in accordance with characteristics with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 12 includes an on-driving constant current circuit 121, a voltage limiting circuit 123, a control circuit 124 and a controller 125. The control circuit 124 controls the voltage limiting circuit 123 based on stored characteristic information about an IGBT 110d. Without using two power supplies as before, the on-driving constant current circuit 121 and the voltage limiting circuit 123 can adjust gate voltage of the IGBT 110d. This results in a simplified circuit configuration. The voltage limiting circuit 123 is controlled based on the characteristic information about the IGBT 110d stored beforehand.
