<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well prevent a surge by using an air bypass valve, while preventing the occurrence of an unintended torque change, concerning a device for control of an internal combustion engine with a supercharger. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a supercharger with a centrifugal type compressor 18 disposed at an intake passage 12, an intake bypass passage 22 for bypassing the compressor 18, and an ABV 24 that can open and close the intake bypass passage 22. The ABV 24 is opened when determined that a working region of the compressor 18 is a surge region. When the working region of the compressor 18 comes off from the surge region when the ABV 24 is opened, it is decided whether to prohibit the closing of the ABV 24 according to the aspect of the change in a torque demand of the internal combustion engine 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
