<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting control system that can both enhance the detection accuracy of the existence or non-existence of a human and increase the processing speed of detecting the existence or non-existence of a human. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting control system 10 comprises a human detecting sensor unit 5 having an imaging device 1 and an image processor 2 for detecting the existence of a human by executing image processing on an image obtained by the imaging device 1, and a controller 6 for controlling illumination light on the basis of a detection signal from the human detecting sensor unit 5. The image processor 2 executes first image processing for detecting the existence of a human in a predetermined overall range of the image, and second image processing for dividing the predetermined overall range into plural different specific ranges, counting the frequency of the detection of the existence of a human during a predetermined time for every specific range, and detecting the existence of a human for the specific ranges which are narrower than the predetermined overall range and whose counted frequencies exceed a predetermined frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
