<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus that reduce false detection of a human due to shadow or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus 1 comprises: a lighting controller 12 for controlling lighting of a light source 11; an image sensor 13 for imaging a space containing a detection area; and a controller 20 for outputting a light control signal to the lighting controller 12 on the basis of existence of a human in the detection area. The controller 20 has a human body detector 22 for detecting existence of a human on the basis of image data and outputting a light control signal on the basis of this detection signal. The light source 11 is set to a first lighting state when the human detector 22 detects existence of a human under the state that the light source 11 is on standby. Thereafter, when the human detector 22 detects existence of a human again under the state that the light source 11 is switched to the first lighting state, the light source 11 is set to a second lighting state under which the light control level is higher than that under the first lighting state, and the human body detector 22 outputs a light control signal for returning the light source 11 to a standby state when existence of a human body is not detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
